Program Application Requirements

The Academy cohort will be limited to a maximum of 12 participants per school year. Qualified applicants for the Digital Learning & Innovation Academy must meet the following requirements:

• Certified teacher who works directly with students in the classroom within the Moriarty-Edgewood School District
• Commitment to attend one full-day of summer PD as scheduled
• Commitment to attend four full-days of PD during the school year as scheduled
• Commitment to collaborating closely with the district Education Technology Specialist throughout the school year to support classroom implementations
• Commitment to integrating learning into classroom teaching practices
• Commitment to sharing their learning as a campus digital innovation leader
• Commitment to mentoring future Academy cohorts
• Commitment to presenting at future Ed Tech U conferences

(Please Note: In order to expand our reach throughout the district, preference will be given to applicants who have NOT been members of MESD Ed Tech PD cohorts in previous years.)
